You joined a public meeting like a convention, conference, party where most of the attending people are unknown to you and you would like to find some one to talk to.
What you would do in the real world
Given the multiplication of the interests contemporary people attend to, it is really hard to find someone having something in common with us enough to hold an interesting conversation. Thereafter we will start talking with random people about very generic topics possibly interspersing some keywords to spot the reaction of the other people and to know whether to insist on the topic. Perhaps we will even ask them for their Facebook name and connect to it to know what are their interests to return later and drop a casual: "so you are interested in middle-east politics...".
What is possible with Virtual Tags
With version 2.0 it is no longer needed to post clouds to tell the world you opinion, it is now also possible to dress your own ever following avatar with what you want the world to know about you. Thereafter, upon joining the meeting, you will start looking at the several avatars that will populate the location, perhaps from a hidden place if you do not like to be seen with you iPhone in front of you, to select the person of interest for you: then you will meet him/her already having a cue of what you have in common.
